Soy’s fiber is the result of production residues from soy oil, tofu, and soy milk, which are normally discarded. The obtaining process of this fiber is harmless and recyclable. Due to its renewable and biodegradable characteristics, it is, therefore, known as a “green fiber”. Soy gives a noble, silk-like appearance and shine, the same moisture absorption as cotton, a superior UV protection than cotton, silk and viscose. It provides a "skin to skin" feeling due to its softness and comfort. In addition to the aspects mentioned above, it has also several features such as: antibacterial, protective and nourishing effect to the skin and contains 16 amino acids such as hydroxyl, carboxyl and cinnamid.
Cotton is the most widely usednatural fibre worldwide. It is commonly used in clothing dueto its versatility, performance and natural comfort. Given theexcessive consumption of this fibre, the ideal would be that all products made from cotton could be recycled, which wouldallow to reduce millions of tonsof waste nowadays present in landfills. Recycled cotton can be generally defined as converting cotton fabric into cotton fibre that can be reusedin textile products.
The organic cotton farming obeys to organic agricultural standards and avoids the use of toxic and persistent synthetic pesticides and fertilizers. Reason why this natural fibre is often seen as more environmentally friendly than conventional cotton
The production of traditional virgin wool is intensive to the lands for grazing animals because it requires a lot of energy, water and chemicals. Recycled wool doesn’t require any of this, is a relatively low-impact process. The wool goesthrough a meticulous sorting ofmaterials into colour categories prior to shredding. The dying process can be removed completely, saving water and chemicals and eliminating the resulting wastewater. The process also uses significantly less energy.

The Spinning process producesthreads that are generally referred to as single or single threads, the essential feature of which is that the componentfibers are twisted in a spiral around the axis of the thread.It is possible to join two or more simple yarns, combining them by twisting to produce a twisted yarn with very different characteristics. The twist applied to a wire of several cables is usually opposite to that of the single component wires, resulting in a stable yarn. FILASA has 5 twists machines available and the ability to twist the most varied types of yarn in a wide range of twists (TPM/ TPI).
It’s a yarn that’s mostly about irregularities in terms of composition, twisting, thickness and colour. It can be added slubs, inclusions, metallic fibers or synthetic fibers on its production.
